Obsessed

I've been obsessing over paint colors for our new place, taking trips every few days to the Home Depot during my lunch hour.  I keep choosing colors, and then having second thoughts as I imagine the rooms in my head.  For the most part, I think we've figured out all of the rooms, except for the living room.  We were sort of on the fence with whether or not we choose a bold color for one of the walls, or we stick with all white and let all of the color and pattern that we own in furnishings, artwork, and decor do the talking.  But then I saw this image in New York Magazine:

And now our minds are made up.  A bold color it is.  

The reason why it works so well in this interior is because the wall color acts as an accent making all of the artwork the focal point.  We have a lot of artwork and I like to hang our artwork in vignettes anyway, so why not take it a step further and hang a lot of it on one wall like this?  Oh my God!  So inspired!
