Sneak Peak

Our fabulous wedding photographer LaRie Baquero offered to take photos of Cedar months and months ago, and as is often the case recently, we weren't able to coordinate our calendars until this past weekend.  She came over, we shared some coffee and caught up while Cedar napped and Rich made banana bread.  Then as soon as Cedar awoke, she transformed into the professional photographer that she is and acted as a fly on the wall capturing moments as we played with our boy.  It went super well and felt completely natural.  A few short hours later she sent us this teaser:
Don't you just love it?!  I love her attention to detail and the way she juxtaposed the images of Cedar's room with photos of him and us.  She really captured the magic of our boy and the joy that he brings us.  I can't wait to see the rest.  :)

I sent my pregnant sister your post about Cedar's birth and I think it was really encouraging to her to hear a realistic and specific and happy account of the birth process. She just wrote a post about feeling her baby moving: http://wp.me/p14NMs-l3 at her blog www.gracehlewis.com

Cedar is a doll!

@ Belle- I can't wait to see the final pictures either! Just got an e-mail that they are one their way! :)

@ Christine- I just read your sister's post and it was so beautiful. I hope that she enjoys Cedar's birth story. Birth is beautiful and a wonderfully empowering right of passage if you allow it to be. Here's another birth beautiful birth story written by Belle (above)about her little Biet. I think she'll enjoy reading it too. :) http://petitebiet.blogspot.com/2011/06/biets-birth-story.html
